Your Personal Brand in 2023

So what is your personal brand? There is an essence that eventually you begin to develop, and then it becomes part of your existence. This essence combines your experiences, likes, dislikes, and mindset and settles in as your personal brand.

Let’s simplify this explanation. For example, the words earth, world, and global are three different ways to view our planet. When we use the word “earth,” we think of a planet in relation to our galaxy. If we use the term “world,” we think of countries and nationalities. Or when we use the word “global,” we might refer to companies, the stock exchange, and busy airlines; it has more of a commercial feel. 

Nothing has changed except our perception or mindset. That’s how your personal brand works. Your personal brand is essential in all aspects of your life.

With that said, a bio is your introduction to your personal brand. Think of your bio as a good friend with a great personality who introduces you to everyone in the room. Then, that good friend begins to tell everyone about the exciting things you’ve done. Remember, your personal brand is how others see you or how they know you, and the same is true for your business brand. Your business is your child. You gave it life, nurtured it, and if something went wrong, you fixed it. All in all, you went through labor. So your business is an extension of you and your brand.
